Alaska Native Inmate Resource Handbook
The Alaska Native Inmate Resource Handbook is designed to help Alaska Natives access services as they transition back into their communities. It does not list all services available, but it does address some of the most basic needs for individuals.
The handbook has resource information within sections organized by location: Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Alaska statewide. Each section includes resource information organized by category: housing; health; legal services; job training and educational services; Native services; and other resources.
The manual's appendix addresses information that is uniform throughout the state, that is, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Domestic Violence (DV), and Child Custody. Click on the links below to view the Handbook. For additional information or to share comments on the handbook, please click here.
