Alaska Tribal Health System Cancer Plan Steering Committee 

Charge and Committee Structure 

Charge: the Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium Board of Directors regarding implementation progress of the Alaska Tribal Health System Cancer Plan. 

The committee began meeting in the spring of 2007 and meets on a quarterly basis. 

Committee membership includes: 

·     Alaska Tribal Health System leadership

·     Alaska Tribal Health System regional representative

·     Alaska Native Medical Center physician

·     Regional health care provider

·     Alaska Native Medical Center leadership

·     Clinical and Research Services manager

·     State of Alaska Comprehensive Cancer Control Program representative (Ex-officio)

·     American Cancer Society representative (Ex-officio) 

Next meeting tentatively scheduled for April 26, 2011.
