  • UAA MPH Scholarship Available! (opened March 9, 2011) The Alaska Native Epidemiology Center (EpiCenter), a division of the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC), is pleased to announce that it will be awarding scholarships for the University of Alaska Anchorage Master’s of Public Health (MPH) Program offered during the 2011 summer semester. The scholarship will include the tuition, fees, and course materials for one course offered through the distance-learning MPH Program. This is a competitive scholarship open only to Alaska Native/American Indian residents of Alaska. The deadline to submit the EpiCenter application is Friday, May 6, 2011.

Position Opportunities

  • Graduate Level Intern - Open Until Filled (opened March 9, 2011). The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium’s (ANTHC) Epidemiology Center is currently offering a 6-month paid graduate-level internship. The selected intern will work on rural and urban public health/epidemiological projects affecting Alaska Natives in Alaska including data dissemination, disease prevention, and health promotion. The Alaska Native Epidemiology Center is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, Alaska Native/American Indian graduate student who wants to work in public health.
