Alaska Native Inmate Resource Handbook This handbook has been designed to assist in transitional services for Alaska Native inmates. It does not contain lists of all services available, but it does address some of the most basic needs for individuals as they transition back into their communities.
The handbook has resource information within each of these sections: Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Alaska Statewide. Each section has been categorized by resource information to include: Housing, Health, Legal Services, Job/Training/Education Services, Native Services, and Other Resources.
The appendix section of the manual addresses information that is uniform throughout the state, i.e. Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Domestic Violence (DV), and Child Custody. If if you would like to request additional information or if you would like to make comments on this handbook please submit comments here.
