Alaska Statewide Maternal Child Health & Immunization Conference

This conference will provide a forum for pediatricians, ob/gyn and family practice physicians, private practice and public health nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, immunization coordinators and community health aides to network and learn about hot topics in MCH and immunization in Alaska.

Proposed Conference Goals:

1. To provide up-to-date surveillance data and research findings on maternal and child health issues of concern to MCH and immunization clinicians and policy makers in Alaska, including those involved in the Alaska Native health system.

2. To present best practices on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of key maternal and child health issues.

3. To provide opportunities for Alaska MCH professionals to learn about resources that are available to assist in their work and to network with colleagues from across the state.
