About HP/DP and the Alaska NYO Games

One Foot High Kick

Alaska NYO Games are organized each year by Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. and hundreds of youth from across Alaska participate. (More information at: www.citci.com)

NYO High Kick

ANTHC HP/DP has been a water sponsor at both junior and senior Alaska NYO Games since 2004. Water and water bottles are provided to all participating athletes, coaches and judges.

Boys Seal Hop

Additionally, in coordination with the events, health information is provided.

Stick Pull

In 2005 the HP/DP and the ANMC Diabetes Program created "NUTRITION PLINKO" to play with youth and those attending the games. Prizes for the games included healthy treats and fun was had by all who joined in.
