The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) General Chapter 797 Pharmaceutical Compounding – Sterile Preparations, requires several environmental controls and monitoring.  Including microbial monitoring and particulate counting in buffer and preparation areas where compounded sterile preparations (CSP) are processed.
