Radiation Protection

Some of the radiation protection services we provide include:

  1. Radiation protection surveys. These surveys of dental and medical X-ray systems include compliance monitoring, quality assurance surveys, and determination of Entrance Skin Exposure.
  2. Dosimetry program. We review the dosimetry reports for exposures and investigate any excess exposures. Additionally, we manage the program and can add and remove employees to the dosimetry program or update information to the dosimetry database.
  3. Shielding design review. We can help you determine the amount of shielding you may need when remodeling or constructing new x-ray suites.
