Training Needs Survey - Fiscal Year 2007

We are working to assess training needs for the 2007 fiscal year on behalf of the Environmental Health Support Center. Please help us by completing the survey below. Please indicate if you are interested in each course and how many people would attend from your facility if the course were held in your nearest hub community in Alaska, if held in Anchorage, or in another hub community in Alaska.

Please be as precise as possible when estimating how many staff will attend. Classes offered through the Environmental Health Support Center typically have minimum class sizes.

Security Management: This course is designed for entry-level security personnel and taught as a "train-the-trainer" class. The class is 5 days.

Comprehensive Environmental Services Course: This course will break students into two tracks. One track is designed for housekeepers and one track is for housekeeping supervisors. The course is 5 days.

Hospital Incident Command System Version IV: This course will outline the extensive changes made to the HEICS system in the latest version. The course length is unknown.

Regulatory Issues in Healthcare: This course will outline the requirements of various regulatory agencies involved in healthcare (Dept. of Transportation, OSHA, Environmental Protection Agency, etc.). The course length is unknown.

Other Course:
