The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) Division of Environmental Health and Engineering (DEHE) offers a 14-week engineering internship for Alaska Native/American Indian students. You must be of sophomore standing in a school of engineering. Travel is paid from and to your home of record to Anchorage, AK. During your 14 weeks, you will work on real engineering projects while getting to travel to remote areas of Alaska. You will receive one Special Project to complete during your internship, usually involving research, decision making and a final report. Your off time activities will amaze you. You can see the tallest mountain in North America, or fish for the King Salmon on the famous Kenai River. There are literally 100's of miles of hiking and bicycling trails. Wildlife is abundant, and the days last almost forever.
