This office collects Community Health Aide (CHA) Program workload counts from statewide CHA Programs representing the 176 village clinics. Health Statistics communicates with Community Health Aides/Practitioners (CHA/Ps) so they know where, when and how to submit their workload data.
CHA Program workload is included in the Statistical Summary of Workload. CHA/P visits are weighted by the type of visit: patient encounter, group health education, fluoride rinses, assisting other providers, and other types of visits. CHA Program workload is documented annually on the Maintenance & Improvement and Equipment (M&I/E) tables. Maintenance & Improvement funds are based upon the size of the facility while Equipment funds are based upon annual workload.
