Internship Opportunities
ANTHC offers paid internships to those interested in health research with the desire to gain hands-on, in-person research skills and experience in Alaska.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be Alaska Native, Native American, and/or Native Hawaiian
- Must meet requirements for employment by Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium’s Human Resources department, such as:
- Background check
- Drug screening
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Additional Information:
- 2023 Internship Dates: May 30 to July 28 (10 weeks)
- Application period: January 3, 2023 – February 24, 2023
- Internship openings will be listed at https://www.anthc.org/anthc-job-openings/
- Undergraduate interns are encouraged to attend the Alaska Indigenous Research Program Week 3: Introductory Research from May 22-26, 2023
- Limited travel scholarships are available to selected applicants to travel to and from Anchorage, Alaska
- A limited number of shared housing opportunities will be provided by Alaska Pacific University in their campus residence halls
