About

Yannick Hodgin (she/her) received a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is experienced in working with adults in both outpatient and residential settings helping to address mental health and substance use concerns such as grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and adjustment/life changes. As a certified Behavioral Health Practitioner (BHP) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Yannick provides individual therapy, group therapy, and assessment services at the BHWC.

Practicing primarily through a cognitive behavioral therapy lens, Yannick draws from various therapies and interventions to tailor her care to meet the unique needs of each client. She strives to help clients feel heard and supported using a nonjudgmental, strengths-based, and holistic approach. Yannick is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to help them identify their values, build upon their strengths, and develop skills to move toward their goals with clarity and confidence.
