Traveling to a hospital or specialty clinics we are unfamiliar with, to receive the care we need, can be difficult. For many Alaskans, the journey to healing often begins with traveling to Anchorage to access a higher level of medical care than is available in our home community. This means navigating a community that is not our own and all the logistics that come along with making it to our medical appointment.
ANTHC Regional Liaisons are here to help! Our Regional Liaisons are available to support patients in rural communities when they are traveling to Anchorage for care at the Alaska Native Medical Center.
