Bernice Kaigelak

Bernice Kaigelak, an enrolled Tribal member of the Native Village of Nuiqsut, represents the Arctic Slope Native Association (ASNA) and serves as Board Treasuer.

Originally formed in 1966, ASNA is a Tribal health care non-profit organization and governed by a nine-member Board of Directors. It is sanctioned by the Tribal governing bodies of the Arctic Slope: the Native Village of Point Hope, Point Lay, Atqasuk, Wainwright, Barrow, Anaktuvuk Pass, Nuiqsut and Kaktovik. Their mission is to “promote the well being of the people of the Arctic Slope.”
