The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) awards 10 competitive $5,000 scholarships to qualified Alaska Native and American Indian students. This scholarship is open statewide. The scholarship covers tuition, books, fees room and board.

Information about scholarship program:

ANTHC is a non-profit Tribal organization that provides health care related services to more than 170,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people. ANTHC’s Board of Directors established this scholarship to increase the number of Alaska Native and American Indian people working in health care fields.

Eligibility requirements:

• Alaska Native and/or American Indian
• Permanent Alaska resident
• Interested in working in a health care-related field
• Enrolled full-time in higher education

  • Higher education includes the pursuit of Associates, Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D.

Application Instructions:

The ANTHC 2024-2025 Board of Directors scholarship application period has closed as of March 31, 2024, at 5 p.m. AKST. The 2025-2026 Board of Directors scholarship application period will run from March 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025. Applicants may apply via the online application portal or request a paper application by email at workforcedev@anthc.org starting March 1, 2025.
