On Jan. 8, the new ANTHC Orthopedics Clinic opened in the University Lake Medical Center (ULMC), located at 3801 University Lake Drive.

The new Orthopedics Clinic is located on the third floor and features 21 exam rooms, two procedure rooms for ultrasound-guided injections, and a casting room to provide comprehensive orthopedic services for all ages. The clinic also includes two dedicated X-ray rooms for convenient on-site diagnostics. In addition, physical therapy services are co-located within the clinic, including two additional exam rooms and a large gym. Orthopedics also continues to offer Teleradiology services and comprehensive concierge-level case management services to set patients up for success before and after their surgery.

“Our Orthopedic team is excited to be seeing patients in our new state-of-the-art facility. The added space, large windows, and beautiful views have greatly enhanced the patient experience,” said Jake Malouf, Orthopedics clinical practice manager. “We are co-located with the Sayaktu Transitional Therapy Clinic for short-term physical therapy, and the Imaging Center has two large X-ray rooms integrated into the Orthopedics clinic to reduce wait times. This is the beginning of a new era in providing the finest Orthopedic care in Alaska.”

The Transitional Therapy Sayaktu Clinic that is co-located with Orthopedics provides short-term physical therapy services for patients traveling to Anchorage for examination and treatment of a comprehensive suite of orthopedic injuries, including elective sports, pediatric, hand, foot, total joint, and more.

These clinics join the ANTHC Ambulatory Surgery Center, the Imaging Center and and the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in ULMC.
