About

Jayly Jackson (he/him) is certified as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Technician (CT) and Behavioral Health Aide-I (BHA-I). As a former child of the military, Jayly traveled to Alaska in connection to his father’s Air Force service. Jayly has made Anchorage his home and from here has completed his training in the behavioral health field. He recently graduated from the Alaska Humanities Forum’s Leadership Anchorage program ’26 and is actively working towards advancing his certification to BHA-II.

As a BHA on the BHWC Intake and Case Management team, Jayly welcomes clients to the clinic, conducts intakes, and schedules appointments. In his role, Jayly is continuously learning about resources in the community, to ensure he is best prepared to serve individuals reaching out for help. Jayly connects with clients by showing unconditional positive regard and using active listening to build trust. At each interaction, he hopes that clients feel heard, accepted, and fully supported.

Outside of the BHWC, he enjoys creating art, focusing on photography, and exploring Alaska with his partner.
