About

Joe Forscher (he/him) has earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in community counseling from Southern Connecticut State University.
As a behavioral health leader Joe places great importance on maintaining positive working relationships. Accordingly, he believes one of his primary responsibilities is to create a culture where staff can grow, feel valued, empowered, capable, and confident so they are equipped for solving their problems and doing great things. Joe is strength-based and solution-focused and strives to lead with humility, passion, and authenticity. He balances leading with intuition, creativity, and humor with a commitment to program excellence and data-driven program evaluation and thrives in fast paced environments that foster teamwork, accountability, and ethical business practices.

As a clinician Joe is also strength based and solution focused. He believes that helping people grow beyond their mental illness so they can reach their full potential is the ultimate recovery goal. Joe’s experience as a clinician has shaped him as a leader and his experience as a leader has shaped him as a clinician.

Joe describes himself as inquisitive, supportive, accountable, accessible, and creative. He has worked hard to develop self-confidence while reducing self-importance and is grateful for all the wonderful and poignant relationships he has had with clients and staff over the years. They have had a profound impact on him and has shaped him in to the person he is today.
