ANMC earns Bronze IAC Echocardiography Accreditation Milestone

In 2025, the Alaska Native Medical Center Cardiovascular Lab reached an impressive milestone. The Cardiovascular Lab has been credentialed through the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for Echocardiography for 20 years, earning the hospital a Bronze accreditation milestone. Intersocietal
IAC launched an accreditation milestone recognition program in 2022 for facilities that achieve a long-term commitment to quality patient care. While more than 5,200 sites across the U.S. and Canada are currently accredited in Adult or Pediatric Echocardiography, a select group of facilities have demonstrated a long-term commitment to quality through IAC Echocardiography. These facilities are recognized for excellence and continuous accreditation for 10, 20 (Bronze), or 25 (Silver) years.
IAC will soon present a plaque to ANMC for this momentous achievement.
