Now open! Connect to compassionate care today at the ANTHC Behavioral Health Wellness Clinic

August 16, 2021

The ANTHC Behavioral Health Wellness Clinic (BHWC) is now open! The BHWC is here to meet your everyday behavioral health needs and our goal is to promote Alaska Native and American Indian wellness through compassionate and easy-to-connect to behavioral health services. All services are provided via telehealth online.

The BHWC serves Alaska Native and American Indian individuals and families throughout the state of Alaska. Clients will be able to begin care quickly and with minimal paperwork. All services will be provided through telehealth (phone and video) so individuals from across Alaska can access care.

BHWC telehealth services include:

  • Substance use assessments
  • Mental health assessments
  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling
  • Health behavior coaching
  • Referral support

More behavioral health services will continue to be added to continue promoting Alaska Native and American Indian wellness through compassionate and easy-to-connect to behavioral health services.

Alaska Native and American Indian patients can access services by:

  1. Call: 1 (833) 642-BHWC (2492) or (907) 729-BHWC (2492)
  2. Talk to your provider about a referral
  3. Fill out your intake online

The BHWC’s priority is to increase access to behavioral health services in partnership with Tribal health organizations across the state. In many areas of our state, behavioral health services are limited. The Consortium has spent the last several years working with Tribal partners to strategize solutions to this problem. We are excited to launch this clinic as part of the solution.

For any providers who have questions about how to refer or about the services, please contact Dr. Rebecca Robinson at rvrobinson@anthc.org.
