The ANTHC Tobacco Prevention Program will host the Online Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training from May 1-June 23.

The course was designed for direct-service Tribal health providers (doctors, nurses, CHAPs, DHATs, BHAs, other clinical and/or community engagement staff) working throughout Alaska, with an emphasis on those working with Alaska Native communities.

The training is designed to meet the standards set forth by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs, which certifies and accredits this course. This course is also an approved course to meet the first requirement for national tobacco treatment specialist certification.
