About

Rebecca Rivera (she/her) is from Utqiaġvik, AK where she spent the foundational part of her career collaborating with Tribal and State organizations in the community and surrounding villages to support families with their reunification goals. Rebecca earned her AAS degree in Behavioral Health from Iḷisaġvik College, is a certified Behavioral Health Aide-II (BHA-II) and has been with the BHWC for three years in July of 2024.

At the BHWC, Rebecca serves all of Alaska as the Clinic Manager. She maintains the important role of managing the day to day clinic operations and functioning by overseeing the administrative responsibilities, and supports the initial screening team by connecting clients to care and does so by extending patience, understanding, and kindness. She is diligent and ensures the BHWC processes are therapeutic and efficient for individuals seeking care.

Outside of the BHWC, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and spending time outdoors.
